Hawaii A: Inhabitants

A study on Hawaiian Inhabitants, the origin of the hibiscus, a stinted economy floating on tourism's fuel, and the beauty that lays in the cracks and crevices.

Tide Change Double Post

Went on a fishing trip with Louis and Tomo. I feel like the room is swaying upon viewing these photos. Shot with my XA and Stylus Epic. 2 compact Olympics fitted with Portra 400NC and Tri-X 400 respectively. I think I will start to jot down field notes for certain shots. The morning shots made waking up worth it. Louis' post linked below.

Love type.

Probably my favorite portrait on film thus far. Leaving for Long Beach at 3:30am with only 40 minutes of sleep was worth it.

Shock me like electric.

Irony.

You wouldn't believe these burgers. I split a double bacon western; homemade, even as the boat rocked.

Bonito.

Take flight, how fitting.

Here is Louis' version.

Double Exposure Experiments with the XA

Tested a double exposure technique with the XA on neopan 400. Results came out pretty interesting, I've always been interested in overlay. Take a look.
